Step 1: Close Photoshop
Make sure Adobe Photoshop is completely closed before replacing resource files.
Step 2: Locate Photoshop Resources Directory
Windows Path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop
<Version>\Resources\
Step 3: Backup Original Files
Keep a copy of your original IconResources.idx and PSIcons*.dat files in a safe
folder.
Step 4: Paste Modded Files
Copy the downloaded IconResources.idx, PSIconsHighRes.dat, and PSIconsLowRes.dat
into the Resources directory (replace existing files).
Step 5: Launch Photoshop
Open Photoshop to enjoy your new custom splash artwork!
Step 1: Quit Photoshop (Cmd + Q)
Make sure Adobe Photoshop is completely closed before modifying app contents.
Step 2: Open Applications Folder
In Finder, go to /Applications/ and locate your Adobe Photoshop folder.
Step 3: Show Package Contents
Right-click (Control-click) on Adobe Photoshop <Version>.app and select
'Show Package Contents'.
Step 4: Navigate to Contents/Resources
Inside the package, open the Contents folder, then open the Resources folder.
Step 5: Backup Original Files
Make a copy of the existing IconResources.idx and PSIcons*.dat files in a safe
location.
Step 6: Replace with Modded Files
Copy your downloaded IconResources.idx, PSIconsHighRes.dat, and
PSIconsLowRes.dat into Resources (choose Replace).
Step 7: Launch Photoshop
Open Photoshop from Applications or Launchpad to view your new custom splash
screen!
